Celebrating 10 Years of the 5th Edition with New Products, Pricing and More

New Card Development

To mark the 10th Anniversary of the 5th Edition of Minden Playing Card Cricket, we are announcing new products, lower pricing for all Player Card sets, and free annual set updates for all current owners of the game and anyone who purchases it before the end of 2021.

Moving forward our Player Cards sets will be priced in the following way:

  • Series Sets - £3.50
  • Tour Packs - £4.50
  • Career Sets by Decade (Pre-2011) - £5.00
  • Career Sets by Year (2011 onwards) - Free Until the End of 2021, then priced at £4.00 from January 2022.

Owners of the 5th Edition and those who buy it before the end of 2021

Career Sets by Year (2011 onwards) will be made free to all current owners of the 5th Edition of the Minden Cricket Board game until the end of 2021, and to anyone who buys the game between now and the end of 2021. To qualify you need to have purchased the game new via mindencricket.com.

We have just released 2017, 2018, 2019 (as a single set) and 2020 Career Cards. These are available on the site and have been emailed to all current owners of the game. We are in the process of finishing 2011 through to 2016 and will make those available also, and when the 2021 set is complete (eta. December 2021) that will also be free to those who have purchased the game prior to December 2021.

Decade Sets, Series Sets and Tour Packs

In addition we are working on Career Decade sets for past years which we will sell as they become available at the above price. Currently the only Career Set - Decade is the 2000s which right now only contains Australia and England. Anyone who purchases this set (or has in the past) will be sent the other countries as they become available.

We have also standardised and lowered the pricing on many of our Series Sets and have plans to greatly expand the Series Sets available in the future, with the famous 1960/61 Tour of Australia by Frank Worrell's amazing West Indies due soon.

Finally, we are working on a detailed Tour Pack of Pakistan's first tour of England in 1954, including their first win ever in England, which occurred at the Oval. This will be similar in detail to one of our best selling sets ever, the 1948 Ashes Tour Pack.
